An experiment using cable ties, I used a big tie down the centre and tied on smaller ones using macrame knots . I then looped them round and tied them off. The shapes iv made remind me of a spine with delicate ribs curving away. 

Another experiment using multiples. Making a ground using pins pushed trough indents on a piece of protective packaging  with the appearance of quilting. I like how the pins have made the plastic curl. The pins stick out in a gradual order with the appearance of an unfurling motion.
