trip to quarry bank mill

I paid a trip to quarry bank mill in Styal, hear I furthered my research into the cotton industry. Whilst looking around the museum I came across a bonnet intended for dressing up, this gave me some ideas for making garments inspired by factory workers. I intend to copy this bonnet. I also took a photograph of a photograph dating from when the mill was in production, the workers can be seen wearing simple clothes including blouses and waist cotes.
