Meeting for Design Festival group

All students  who chose to do the Manchester Design festival brief met at the 'Self Made Gallery' in the Northern Quarter to discuss ideas and to start forming groups. 

We sat and talked about the ideas we wanted to promote within the festival. I was particularly interested in an  experience and making ephemeral design to be enjoyed at the future festival. I didn't want to  create an idea that would be entirely about selling design and product but rather challenge what design was and the purpose it served. 

Id like to create something that could be part of a community that could be enjoyed and looked upon and then disappear, to emphasize the importance of experience over tangible things.
