making

This is a sample I made in response to my ideas and research, I made a simple collar from calico and then sandwiched a panel of scrim  between the layers of fabric. I like the way the fabric tapers towards the end as it rolls at the edges. I dyed the fabric using orange ink as this was a colour we had decided on as a group in tutorials. I used exclusively cotton fabrics for, I am discussing the cotton industry.
