Dying silk with vegetables and spices, these are the most successful examples, using turmeric and red cabbage. I wanted to find a way of making something decorative that wouldn't be harmful if it went back to the ground. I feel that natural and man made are made into categories but everything was from 'nature' once, id like to find a way of bridging the gap between the continuous and exhaustive use of natural things. It seems to me resources are above ground, by making something that could completely biodegrade it could go back.
