colour

I have made the decision that I would like to introduce more colour to my work and perhaps in combination with my drawing, this will free up my work on fabric. I have collated objects drawings and photographs that have inspired me so far and built up colour stories from this research to help with future decisions on colour choices. 

I have been doing some research into designer that use a lot of colour in their embroidery  for fashion. A designer that particularly stood out was Erdem Moralioglu. His work for Fashion week in 2012 combined embroidery applique and print to add pattern to the surface of the garments.
