Resin and Paint

I have begun a process of making drawings with large quantities of domestic gloss paint. This is another way for me to experiment with my reoccurring theme of matte and shiny surfaces.  The way the paint creates an unpredictable shape upon the paper also fits with my organic theme. The process that the paint goes through means it takes a long time to dry causing the paint to have an uneven texture that changes over time again this is part of a reoccurring theme within my project. This hard shiny surface influenced my work with resin on fabric. Again I was looking to cause a contrast between soft and hard dull and shiny. The sample I created through this process had medium success but the composition leaves something to desired. However this process is one I would very much like to explore further.
